We' are Pluro Education Limited ('we', 'our', 'us'). By accessing or using our tutoring or other services (e.g. webinars), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before booking a session.

1. Services Provided

We provide online tutoring services for GCSE, A-Level, and University students, as well as other services e.g. coaching for university applications and academic guidance, webinars. All sessions are conducted online via platforms such as Google Meet.

2. Booking & Payments (where applicable)

  • Sessions must be booked in advance through direct arrangement

  • Payment must be made before the session unless otherwise agreed

  • Prices are subject to change, but any changes will be communicated in advance

3. Cancellations, Refunds, and No-shows (where applicable)

  • Student Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling

  • Tutor Cancellations: If we need to cancel a session, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative time or issue a full refund

  • No-Shows: If a student does not attend a session without prior notice, the session will be charged in full

4. Code of Conduct

To ensure a positive learning environment, students are expected to:

  • Attend sessions on time and be prepared

  • Engage respectfully and professionally

  • Refrain from sharing or distributing session materials without permission

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate sessions if a student engages in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • While we strive to provide high-quality tutoring and other services, we do not guarantee specific grade improvements, university acceptances, or other academic outcomes. The effectiveness of our services depends on various factors, including, but not limited to, the student’s effort, prior knowledge, and study habit

  • We are not responsible for any technical issues, including internet disruptions or software malfunctions, that may affect online tutoring sessions or any of our other services

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to academic performance, lost opportunities, or financial losses, arising from:

    • The use or inability to use our services

    • The reliance on any information provided during tutoring sessions / webinars or through other channels

    • Any errors, omissions, or delays in content delivery

    • Actions taken by students based on advice, guidance, or study strategies provided in tutoring sessions, webinars, or through other channels

    • Any third-party websites or external resources linked to this site or any of our other channels

By using our services, you acknowledge and accept these limitations and agree that our total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount you have paid for the services in question.

Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

6. Use of materials and Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the materials provided during our services for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. This includes any lesson notes, worksheets, presentations, or other resources shared with you during sessions.

Under this license, you may not:

  • Modify, reproduce, distribute, or publicly share any materials without explicit written permission

  • Use the materials for commercial purposes, such as reselling or redistributing them for profit

  • Record or distribute tutoring sessions without prior consent

  • Claim ownership of any materials provided as part of the service

  • Share login details, lesson materials, or exclusive content with individuals who are not enrolled in our services

All teaching materials, lesson content, and resources provided during sessions remain our intellectual property.

We reserve the right to revoke access to materials or terminate tutoring services at any time if misuse is detected. Upon termination, you must delete or destroy any copies of materials you have received.

7. Parental Consent for Under-18 Students

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, including those under the age of 18.

Parental Consent

By enrolling in our services (e.g. tutoring session, webinars), students (or their parents/guardians) confirm that they:

  • Have obtained the necessary parental or guardian consent if they are under 18 years old

  • Agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on behalf of the student

  • Understand that our sessions may involve one-on-one online interactions via video calls, screen sharing, and digital communication

If we become aware that a student under 18 has enrolled without proper consent, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate tutoring services until consent is confirmed.

Parental Supervision & Communication

  • Parents or guardians may request updates on their child’s progress

  • We encourage parents to ensure students attend sessions in a safe and appropriate learning environment

Contact Information & Emergency Situations

  • Parents or guardians must provide a valid form of communication regarding tutoring sessions

  • In the unlikely event of an emergency or safeguarding concern, we will attempt to contact the parent or guardian immediately

8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

  • By using our services, you consent to us storing your contact details and relevant academic information for tutoring / coaching purposes

  • We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law

9. Third-Party Links

This website or our other channels may contain links to third-party websites for additional resources or convenience. These links do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with such sites.

  • We do not control or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites
