About me
Hi, I’m Omar👋
Nice to meet you! Here’s a bit about myself:
⭐ Born and raised in Hong Kong | Attended Diocesan Boys’ School
⭐ Moved to the UK, where I completed my GCSEs, and A-Levels at Brighton College, achieving 10 A*s / Level 9 and 4 A*s respectively
⭐ Top of my cohort in my Second Year and Final exams at Oxford Chemistry
⭐ Tutored at Pembroke College Oxford, winning a teaching award in the process
My goal is to help you build a winning Game Plan 🏆
I know how overwhelming being a student can feel — I’ve been in your shoes. (When I first started studying Chemistry, it took me a whole year to understand what a “mole” is!)
But I also know that with the right strategy and support, you can excel and fulfil your full potential.
My goal is to make learning clear, structured, and effective, so you can focus on what truly matters: achieving your goals with less stress, and more free time for your other interest beyond studying.

Adapting to the UK, heading to Oxford for Chemistry, and coming top in my year 🎓
I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I then moved to the UK to study at Brighton College, where I sat my GCSEs and A-Levels, achieving 10 A*s / Level 9 and 4 A*s respectively. Adapting to a new academic system while balancing high expectations taught me the importance of how to study smart — skills I now hope to pass on to my students.
I went on to read Chemistry at Oxford and was top of my cohort in my Second Year and Final examinations (Part IA and IB). I then pursued a Master’s in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Management at Imperial College London, where I graduated with First-Class honours and was named on the Dean’s List.

My passion for teaching and breaking down complex ideas into easy-to-understand formats🚀
Teaching has always been more than just a job for me — it’s something I genuinely love. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student’s eyes light up when a difficult concept finally clicks. Whenever I help a student overcome a challenge, I feel a real sense of excitement and joy, knowing that I’ve made a difference (no matter how small!).
While studying, I interned at Brighton College (UK School of the Decade) and later won an award for my teaching at Pembroke College, Oxford. Over the years, I’ve worked with students at GCSE, A-Level, and university levels, helping them build confidence, master difficult topics, and develop a deeper understanding of their subjects.
Upon graduation, I became a strategy consultant, where I honed my ability to break down complex ideas and present them in a clear, and engaging way. I was also actively involved in New Joiner training, ensuring that new graduates are equipped with the right toolkit to allow them to excel.
That same skill of distilling key information into an easy-to-understand format is exactly what I apply to tutoring, helping students grasp difficult concepts quickly and effectively.
